What MerryVill provides
MerryVill is a free community matching pilot for local residents. It helps Requesters and Helpers find each other and coordinate work. Work is arranged directly between participants. MerryVill does not guarantee availability, a participant’s abilities, or the performance or outcome of any work.
Requests and agreements
Provide accurate information and request only work you are authorized to arrange. Requesters do not need to be property owners, but must obtain any permission needed for the work or entry. Discuss scope, timing, price, equipment, safety, access, and payment before beginning. Payments are made directly between participants, not through MerryVill.
Matching and completion
A Helper’s application is not a confirmed assignment. The Requester selects and confirms the Helper. After doing the work, the Helper marks it complete and the Requester confirms completion. Contact each other promptly about changes or cancellations.
Safety and respectful use
Do not use MerryVill for unlawful, misleading, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe conduct. Do not enter property without permission or undertake work beyond your abilities. Follow the Community Guidelines. Matching does not amount to a background check or a safety certification.
Photos and automated checks
Upload only photos you have the right to share. Avoid including people, private documents, or unrelated personal information. Request photos are checked for safety and work relevance, and their recorded location and capture time are compared with the confirmed work location and the posting time. Passing a check is not proof of authenticity, property rights, or safety. Metadata may be missing or changed, and automated checks may make mistakes.
Test access and availability
The current pilot uses invited phone numbers and a shared test code; no SMS is sent. This does not verify ownership of a phone number. Do not sign in as another tester or share access with uninvited people. This is a pilot, and interruptions or errors may occur.
Content and copyright
You retain any rights you hold in the content you upload. Uploading content allows MerryVill and its service providers to process, store, and display it as needed to operate the requested features, including photo checks. Do not copy or misuse other participants’ content.
